    Sarapiqui to La Fortuna bus
    Guest

Hi, any ideas how we can get from sarapiqui to La Fortuna? It says two buses for the route but each only goes every three hours. Do you know any options that aren’t too expensive? And that won’t take too many hours? Not sure how to find what time the bus connections run. Thank you for your wonderful service!!

    Hey Anne!

Quick question: Are you limited to taking the local bus? It’s definitely the most affordable way of moving around but it can be a pain organizing connections, and it usually eats up a lot of extra travel time. Tracking down local bus schedules can be tricky, too, because they change from time to time. (Some companies post schedules on websites or social media channels but not all have/use those.) Although it’s a more expensive option, I’d recommend just booking a shared shuttle service through Interbus for the route. They offer an afternoon shuttle service that travels directly from Sarapiqui to La Fortuna (I believe it would pick you up in Sarapiqui around 2:15pm or so), helping you get to La Fortuna quickly and without hassle.
